My Approach

I love working with teens, young adults, and couples. My clients work with me on things like transitioning out of adolescence, exploring identity, handling academic and social issues, reducing anxiety, social phobia, depression, and managing ADHD, PTSD, and relationship issues. I also enjoy creating a safe space for clients coming from a Muslim background. With couples, I draw on Gottman Method techniques to increase emotional connection and communication. We are in-network with Aetna, Meritain, UMR, Continental, Cigna, Anthem, Empire, United Healthcare, Optum, Oxford, Medicare, Oscar, 1199 plans, BCBS, and Horizon. We are not able to submit claims for NJ Family Care, Medicaid, or Tricare Plans.

I see clients in-person at our Jersey City office and provide telehealth to clients across NJ. I work Sunday to Thursday and offer daytime, evening, and weekend appointments. We have more than 50 therapists on staff so if I’m not the right fit, I’m sure we can find a colleague who is. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
